Vineyard Vineyard Vineyard Vineyard

We are limited In Nova Scotia to the grapes we can fully ripen. Despite our latitude, which is the same as Bordeaux, we have a much shorter growing period. As a result we grow grapes, which, in many cases, are not grown in warmer climes.

We are proud of our product that tastes differently from some of the more commonly known wines. Our wines reflect the terroir (climate and soil) of the Annapolis Valley to produce a unique experience.

Our new series will describe in detail the tasks that are carried out each month. Our three vineyards located in the Annapolis Valley and the Gaspereau Valley each have a slightly different microclimate that allows us to suit the grape variety to the soil and location.

We will discuss every aspect of grape growing in a cool climate location like Nova Scotia
